# Marco Pontili

I’m a Munich-based Marketing Website Developer with 15 years in tech. I own marketing websites end to end, covering full-stack development, SEO/GEO implementation, and CRO across international markets.

## My Career Journey

### Italy

I built my first websites in **2010** for friends and small businesses. In **2013** I went full-time as a Web Designer and Frontend Developer in Rome. Since then, I’ve worked with SMBs, web and media agencies, and corporate clients.

### The Netherlands

In **2018** I moved to the Netherlands, and in **2019** I joined [Spotzer Digital](https://marcopontili.com/projects/spotzer "Website production at Spotzer Digital") as Client Manager for the Italian market: 100+ white-label SMB marketing sites delivered and 25% fewer revision cycles.

### Portugal

From **2021** to **2023** I worked as Frontend Engineer at [Nestlé](https://marcopontili.com/projects/nestle "Frontend Development at Nestlé") on the global CIAM program, delivering multilingual registration and consent forms across 20+ markets for Nespresso, Maggi, and Purina.

### Germany

From **2023** to **2024** I worked as Technical Project Manager at [Lancaster University Leipzig](https://marcopontili.com/projects/lancaster "Programme Lead at Lancaster University Leipzig"), Germany. I ran the Computer Science pre-bachelor and pre-master courses, standardised delivery across seven lecturers, and increased student satisfaction from 50% to 90%.

In **2025** I started collaborating remotely with [ForEveryone Berlin](https://marcopontili.com/projects/foreveryone "ForEveryone Berlin design system"), a non-profit, as a volunteer. I am now their Web Lead, running a 4-person web team on the marketing site and design system.

In **2026**, in Munich, I was Website Owner for [parcelLab](https://marcopontili.com/projects/parcellab "parcelLab marketing website case study"), owning the marketing site end to end: WordPress, HubSpot, campaign pages, and an AI-assisted Gutenberg workflow from brief to production.

## Testimonials

Colleagues and clients, in their words.

- > *“*Marco and I worked closely together for a brief period, but it was enough for me to recognize the depth of his technical knowledge, his relentless commitment to solving problems, and his belief in building scalable systems rather than one-off patches. He is a brilliant teammate who is always ready to jump in and support others. I highly recommend Marco as a creative, diligent, and deeply knowledgeable professional.*”*
